Tomorrow is #Dewey’s #Read-a-Thon.

Let me apologize in advance for blowing up your inbox with posts tomorrow. I will be attempting all 24 read-a-thon mini challenges this time around. To keep me on track, I am going to do a separate post for each one that I complete.

Unlike last read-a-thon, I have my food ready. LOL!

My snacks: apples, popcorn, potato chips, chick-o-sticks.

My dinner is cooking in the crock pot now – Barbecue Pulled Chicken. I got the recipe from Julian Michaels’ site. She recommended it as a healthy option for tailgating. Read-a-thons and tailgates have things in common, right? Good food and lots of cheering 🙂

Dewey’s 24-Hour Read-a-thon is an international reading challenge where everyone participates at the same time. For 24 hours, participants read books, post on their blogs (and/or social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, etc.) about their reading, and visit other readers’ blogs. Participants also take part in mini-challenges throughout the day and win prizes.

I have signed up as a reader. It’s not too late for you to sign up.

Are you participating? What are you going to read?
